The wiki part is cool, but honestly I prefer sphinx at least to mantain the
"community book" and IMHO the translation work you did't to be able to
translate teh book with rosseta is phenomenal.

Then, did you consider that doe to the leak of translation part of the wiki
on github (or it will be possible to translate -the wiki-)?

I think for the technical part "developer book" you points and plan are
excellent, but for the functional book I hardly beleive it is on this way.

As you can see the spanish version of the book is translated almost 60%
improving the process on github with the inline edit capabilities as you
said can improve the colaboration on it.

Obvioulsy we will have as I can understand 4 types of documentations:

1.- How to contribute (community book + wiki) << translatable the community
only.
2.- Technical part (inside the source code using autodoc).
3.- FAQ part (Forum on odoo.com)
4.- Structured books translatable << This is what I am talking about
