we are very close to a 1.8.5 release of the buildout recipe.
I plan to release it tomorrow or this week-end if no blocker issue is
found in the meanwhile.
Don't hesitate to provide feedback.

I will be mostly offline next week.
Remember that you can get back to 1.8.4 in case of problems as with any
other python distribution. Namely:

  anybox.recipe.openerp = 1.8.4
