[Bug 705859] Re: [V6.0.1] Problem run client-web after insatll

 

openerp (server and clients) MUST NOT be installed as python module (so
with python setup.py install), because the owner of /usr/lib/python2.X
is root, so you have to be root to run openerp.

Instead, you can run them directly from within the source folder (eg:
./openerp-web.py) or make yours init scripts point to there to have
deamons running in the background.

"python setup.py install" remains valid only if you use a virtualenv or
similar solution
