Openerp accounting constraints module -> ideas?

Good morning all,

I have just arrived on the list and went through this discussion.

May I add a suggestion regarding the point 7. in section "Summary and decisions for v7.0" :
7 - Forbid to post / modify / delete (->real only) journal entries on journal type other than 'general'.
=> we can have this configurable.

Accpac users have this feature, named "blocked account":
A blocked account can not be used to write an operation directly in a journal; instead one has to use a specific process (invoicing, refund...).
This is particularly useful for accounts payable and accounts receivable to avoid messy situations...

This would be easy to setup :
* add a boolean field to account_account model;
* add a list view to quickly see the list of blocked account;
* modify the domain of the account_id many2one field wherever it is used in the accounting module (journal items, journal entries, journal voucher, bank statement...)

Does this make sens to you ?

Regards,
Marc Cassuto
