Re: Module "upgrade" events support on the ORM layer

Hello Friends.

I think, we need to be sure that this times be according to plans....

Don't you think should be a good idea to sell some kind of "fee" between
partners and/or community to be sure this time should be shorter.

Plan: [Only an Idea, it couldn't be taken ;-) ]

We are more than 120 partners, the development of an script for all Oficial
stable-addons and its documentation should cost XXX € divide those XXX costs
between partners network and plan an special payment [It _always_ will be
less than dedicate an internal resource to develop it in our offices ], IMHO
I dont think this should be more than some fews thousands of €, then we (
the community ) take this base to migrate extra and community addons ( and
charge for it to our respective customers than in first time paid for the
development )...... This should be (for an economic point of view) a deal
win-win........ OpenERP, SA dont pay all the development and we the
community and partners not have to wait for +++8 months...... We in
Venezuela are the only one taht develop the localization and this is
probable that this agreement not benefit to us directly because equally we
need to work in this alone, but I think the work will be better in this way
that wait for the good soul of OpenERP, S.A. all we know that the Better
Things are for pay, anybody of us give our services for free to our
customers... ;-)

IMHO Fabien has some reason, this is a service, and somebody should pay for
it.... I think is probable that all partner network to recoup the cost of
this investment should be translated to our customers with the rate
(<20%)mentioned by Raphael, in South America this cost should be more
easy and
deal with it instead a manteinance contract that represent a lot of money in
South America.

Regards.
