[Openerp-expert-production] BoM - Breakdown of CompleteProductinto parts Setup/Design Question
I think there are two mistakes in your configuration:
- you set up a BoM for product 'Part 1' and you set 'Part 1' as a sub product in this BoM as well - so it will get produced twice...
- you need a component 'to consume' (the COMPBIKE you will disassemble)
Procurement issue: what about declaring BoMs for every disassembled product? Seems a little bit stupid, but as far as there is no stock procurement would create a MO....
Example: on stock you've got the frame, the work and handlebars. A customer orders wheels now. As far as you have got a BoM 'wheel' (with all other products as sub products) you where asked to disassemble another COMPBIKE...

Yes but it produced results similar but a little different. The issue is how do you manage procurement easily
