    We have checked issue at our end and Ass report suggest it show file szie by month, which work perfect generic way. The Problem you are suggesting is customization that can be done according to requirement (making it sorted asc or desc by month). So We consider this as Opinion, 
    I request community team to take action on bug as per required.
