[Bug 928191] Re: Lots should be unset on backorder after partial move
For me, there is another solution : the production lot should be set
only when the user process the move. Thus, the production lot is set
according to the reality.
For me, the OpenERP processing of a picking is made after the real life
processing of it. So, user knows which lots are moved. It's a mistake to
set a lot before the processing because a same lot can be set to
different moves without control of the stock. This can make mistakes.
This is just my opinion about the lot management on stock moves.
To answer the question of this ticket, I think it's better to unset lot on backorders only on Incoming backorders.

Title:
Lots should be unset on backorder after partial move
Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
Opinion
Bug description:
In v6.0 and trunk:
- create an incoming shipment with a move
- make sure the move available (it should be if the source is a supplier location)
- add a tracking lot or a production lot
- process only part of the move
=> the generated backorder retains the tracking lot and the production lot. They should have been cleared instead.
The same problem arises with internal moves and deliveries.
