Hmm, can't seem to get recordmydesktop-0.3.8.1 built quickly, replays
seem to work fine on the website, but until I debug the configure
problem: configure: error: Type u_int16_t must be available! I probably
cannot use it...

Anyway, I believe the step you're missing is twofold, set the time back
to, for example, before you installed the module recorder... and in my
case I used created and modified, but I'm not sure that changes the
problem.

If I don't change the time, of course it works, there's nothing changed

  seems a fundamental problem somehow, the screenshot gives the
  context...
