Message #11982
[Bug 1006317] [NEW] [6.1] Partner Categories doesn't show subcategory members
Public bug reported:
I'm using OpenERP 6.1 release version. My setup uses a hierarchical list
of partner categories (Purchase->Configuration->Address Book->Partner
Categories).
The OpenERP handbook explains that clicking on any category will list
all partners belonging to that category and its sub categories. This
doesn't seem to work like that in v6.1 (anymore?).
I have created a test setup with two partner categories:
Main
Main/Sub
And then I have added one partner to Main/Sub. When I now click on the
Main category in the Partner Categories list, it shows no partners. If I
click on the Main/Sub category, my partner appears in the list.
I don't know if this is an intended change and the documentation is just
lagging or whether this is a bug in the code. I'd rather consider it a
bug in the code that should be fixed, because the behaviour as described
in the documentation seems very useful to me.
** Affects: openobject-addons
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
