Hello James,

I have checked your issue. But it's need more discussion ,because when
you select currency in account entries . How can system knows which
entry is debit and which is credit.

suppose   DR      CR

               100     00
               00        100

or          00        100
              100         00


So I'm setting this as opinion for more sufficient results.

  [account] Debit/credit amount not calculated when entering currency
  and amount currency

Bug description:
  When creating a journal entry it should be possible to enter the
  currency and amount_currency field on a line (journal item) and the
  system should automatically calculate the debit/credit value using the
  exchange rate for the journal entry date. This does not work. The
  system leaves the user to manually calculate the company currency
  amounts, which is incorrect behaviour for an accounting system.
