[Bug 1068010] Re: [trunk] 7.0 Accounting bug with Additional Product Locations & Real Time valuations
Hello,
I have made two mistakes in the video, but if you follow the video, you
will see what I am talking about. I am giving link from unlisted
youtube, because it is a bit long. It covers whole process of
configuration from basic install till the bug appearing.
Made 2 mistakes, but next transaction was with the right configuration.

In the last transaction we should have Production 2 account, not
production 1 as it is appearing.

Title:
[trunk] 7.0 Accounting bug with Additional Product Locations & Real
Time valuations
Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
Incomplete
Bug description:
There is a bug related to accounts in real-time valuation in
production location. When you book the finished product it get
accounts from the first production location. You can have several
production locations.
So if you have second location, it makes these transactions:
1. Moving Materials to production
Debit Second Production Account Account / Credit Materials (That is
OK) -
2. Booking Finished Product
Debit Finished Product / Credit First Production control account
(Wrong!! - it should get the account from the location, not the
account from base or first location)
You can see the above example on:
http://trunk_22443.runbot.openerp.com
DB: trunk_22443 (without _all)
BOM Products: Laptop Customized and Laptop Customized - Second
Production
How to replicate:
1. In Settings-> Warehouse -> check Generate accounting entries per stock movement and Manage multiple locations and warehouses
2. Create new Production location
3. Make new accounts for real-time valuation
Inventory Control Account
Production Control Account (Work in Progress without labor costs)
Second Production Control Account (Work in Progress without labor costs)
4. Install Anglo-Saxon accounting
5. Enter the inventory control account in Product categories of Finished goods and Materials in Stock Input Account and Stock Output Account
6. Go to Materials and Finished Goods in Accounting tab and change to Real-Time valuation
7. Enter in the routings production locations
