[Bug 1095398] Re: [trunk/7.0] Sales: Imports using LinkedIn unlinks pre-existing contacts
Hello,
The linkedin module was updated last april (revision 9046) fixing this
issue. The contacts are no longer unliked (object kept, not linked to
openerp).
However, as mentioned Stefan and Erwin, the duplication of contacts and
importing too many contacts is bad for usability. We will try to improve
that module. Thanks for the feedback
Regards

Title:
[trunk/7.0] Sales: Imports using LinkedIn unlinks pre-existing
contacts
Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
Fix Released
Bug description:
I just activated the LinkedIn social network integration (settings >
config > sales).
I followed the steps to activate and was successful.
the problem arises when you update a company via LinkedIn. if there
contacts prior to updating, these contacts will be UNLINKED from the
customer/partner.
IMHO updating via linked in should not remove existing contacts
within partners/customer/supplier
