Hello,

issue is in "event" module, there is security access rule in
"ir.model.access.csv" file, defined as:

access_event_event_portal,event.event,model_event_event,,1,0,0,0

It is defined without a group, that is causing all the users, even without assigned event group, to see the events menu.
Checked in trunk and 7.0 versions.
