Message #27589
[Bug 1305382] [NEW] When creating a delivery order, can't enter a not "is a customer" address as the delivery address
Public bug reported:
When creating a delivery order, can't enter a not "is a customer"
address as the delivery address
OpenERP v7. 2014-04-09
Reproduce:
1) Activate in settings/sales: Allow a different address for delivery and invoicing
2) Create a company. Set it as customer. This is the head office, where we send the invoice.
3) Create a contact under the company. Call it Biulding #1. This is a building where we ship products to. Do not set it as "is a customer" because this building must not be invoiced.
4) Create a Sales Order and set the delivery address to Building #1.
This is all correct up to now. The invoice goes to the head office. The
product goes to the storage building. The building is not allowed to be
used as a customer.
5) Create a new from the delivery order list and its Create button.
6) Set the delivery address to Building #1. The system does not recognize Building #1 as a valid entry. Only "is a customer" is allowed.
Expected: All contact addresses should be allowed as a destination
address for a delivery order, even if it is not set to "is a customer".
IMPORTANT: It is important that storage buildings that belong to a
customer not be set to "is a customer". Or else, it is possible to
invoice a storage building instead of an actual customer.
Contradiction: When I create a Sales Order, the destination address is
carried through to a field labeled Customer in the Delivery Order. It
should be labeled "Destination Address". When I create a Delivery Order
from scratch, that same field insists on getting a customer. It should
allow any contact.
