[Bug 229122] [NEW] Sound playback in Java applet fails and causes 100% CPU

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: icedtea-gcjwebplugin

I'm using Hardy 64 bit with the Iced Tea plugin (version 1.0-0ubuntu5)
in Firefox 3. When I use an applet that plays sounds, the first couple
sounds will play fine, but then sound stops working and CPU usage jumps
to 100%. Here is an example of an applet that causes the problem:

http://www.realapplets.com/tutorial/SoundExample.html

After the applet loads, it plays a sound. Then clicking anywhere in the
applet should cause a sound to be played. This works the first time,
but upon clicking a second time no sound is heard and CPU usage jumps to
100%.

I've seen similar behaviour in other applets as well.

** Affects: icedtea-gcjwebplugin (Ubuntu)
