According to a patch in the Eclipse upstream tracker, the crash in
pango_layout_new could be caused by just about any exception, which
explains why the same symptom shows up for so many unrelated bugs.

Bug description:
Recently updated to Karmik, all fine, except Eclipse, too mucho trouble with it.

When I try to to install Aptana Studio it crashes.
