Message #04412
[Bug 621129] [NEW] openjdk-6 ten to 20 times slower than sun-java6
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: openjdk-6-jre-headless
We use openjdk-6-jre-headless in actual version 6b18-1.8.1-0ubuntu1 which is ten to twenty times slower than the same application on a different server, using sun-java6.
Is there anything, what we can do, to speed up openjdk?
Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS // 2.6.32.24
Tomcat 6.0.24, Apache2.2.14
Server has 32GB of Ram and eight Xeon Cores.
** Affects: openjdk-6 (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
