[Bug 676226] [NEW] eclipse crashes when started with jhbuild.

Public bug reported:

Eclipse crashed when started with jhbuild.
For the first time, it started and I was able to create an existing project from source. Then it suddenly crashed with the following error:
# A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment:
#
#  SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc=0xb5b6ab43, pid=17780, tid=3078952640
#
# JRE version: 6.0_20-b20
# Java VM: OpenJDK Client VM (17.0-b16 mixed mode, sharing linux-x86 )
# Derivative: IcedTea6 1.9.1
# Distribution: Ubuntu 10.10, package 6b20-1.9.1-1ubuntu3
# Problematic frame:
# J  org.eclipse.ui.internal.navigator.extensions.NavigatorContentDescriptorManager.findDescriptors(Ljava/lang/Object;Ljava/util/Map;Lorg/eclipse/ui/internal/navigator/VisibilityAssistant;ZZ)Ljava/util/Set;
#
# An error report file with more information is saved as:
# /home/glassrose/hs_err_pid17780.log

I have attached hs_err_pid17780.log below.

This didn't used to happen when I had sun jdk installed on my pc.
