Message #05846
[Bug 783375] [NEW] File-menu in java RCP application does not appear on Ubuntu classic
Public bug reported:
When I'm running an RCP-Eclipse java application, the main menu (file-menu) which is normally chown in the Gnome-Panel (with the new ubuntu-classic) does not appear. So it is not possible to execute any command from the menu as "file->open" or even "file->exit". The main-menu is just un-existant. It is not shown.
This is very problematic for some applications !! Please fix this bug quickly
This is ALWAYS reproductible. It is not only with openjdk-jre, but also with the sun-java-jre !
I'm running on ubuntu Natty Narwal, with Ubuntu Classic (no visual
effect).
