[Bug 795340] [NEW] unity launcher doesn't show starter correctly until restart

Public bug reported:

I'm having a problem. I distribute a Java application. jEdit to be
precise. The application also provides a .desktop file in
/usr/share/applications/. Directly after installing the .deb package,
the Dash can find the application, but if I start it, only a gray box
with question mark and title "win0" appears in the launcher. Pinning
that is not possible, or rather it is possible but non-functional and
also vanishes if you restart unity. This behaviour exists until Unity is
restarted. From then on all behaves well. If I replace OpenJDK by Sun
JDK everything works right from the beginning, so I think this is an
issue with OpenJDK.

ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04
Package: openjdk-6-jre 6b22-1.10.1-0ubuntu1
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.38-8.42-generic 2.6.38.2

ProcEnviron:
 LANGUAGE=de_DE:en
 LANG=de_DE.UTF-8

SourcePackage: openjdk-6
UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install)
