[Bug 804123] [NEW] package openjdk-6-jre-headless 6b22-1.10.2-0ubuntu1~11.04.1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

 

Public bug reported:

.java (binary) file existed in /etc and java update couldn't complete because it wanted to create a directory
I renamed the /etc/.java file to /etc/.java-old ( mv /etc/.java /etc/.java-old ) and the update succeeded.

I still have a copy of the old .java file if it's needed.
