Could you please be a bit more specific : which exact gcc/g++ flag is
overriden during hotspot build ?

One discrepancy I've found is that CFLAGS *AND* CPPFLAGS are both send to
g++ invocation - so there duplicate flags send to compiler.

This seems to be whishlist and not serious bug...
