[Bug 1154204] [NEW] Spread Hacker causes Thinkorswim to abort with SIGSEGV

Public bug reported:

# A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment:
#
# SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc=0x0000000000000000, pid=4071, tid=140417104238336
#
# JRE version: 6.0_27-b27
# Java VM: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (20.0-b12 mixed mode linux-amd64 compressed oops)
# Derivative: IcedTea6 1.12.3
# Distribution: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, package 6b27-1.12.3-0ubuntu1~12.04.1
# Problematic frame:
# C 0x0000000000000000
#
# An error report file with more information is saved as:
# /usr/local/thinkTDA/hs_err_pid4071.log
#
# If you would like to submit a bug report, please include
# instructions how to reproduce the bug and visit:

#
Aborted (core dumped)

To duplicate: with TDA thinkorswim running, select Spread Hacker. As
soon as a list of potentially profitble spreads appears, scroll through
the list. Program aborts, icon disappears from Launcher.

As a first guess, I suspect that Spread Hacker produces such a large
list that Java runs out of memory (machine has 6GB). Prior to August,
2012, I successfully used Spread Hacker, but with Ubuntu 10.04 on a
different machine.

This bug appears to be related to, but not identical to, #625629.

** Affects: openjdk-6 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
