[Bug 1174280] Re: I can't run shell script apps like celtx and alchemy in 13.04. I downloaded Java but the apps still don't run.

Use wine to install the windows version just like I've done.
I'm running 13.04 and I use Celtx.

Ubuntu 13.04 is an excellent OS with detail improvements, don't stress
it.

Title:
I can't run shell script apps like celtx and alchemy in 13.04. I
downloaded Java but the apps still don't run.

Status in “openjdk-6” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
When I downloaded the script writing software, celtx, and extracted
it, it wouldn't run. Celtx is a shell script app. I uploaded the
free java runtime software but it still doesn't run. I also tried to
run the image generating software, alchemy, and it also doesn't run.
Alchemy is a java software. If you go to celtx.com and al.chemy.org,
you'll see the software I'm talking about.
