So the real problem is that neither one of us know how to use Yaourt. =)
I forgot it didn't do that. This should do what you want: yaourt -Syu
--aur --devel

Bug description:
  Version 1.9.7, On seperate Arch installs running KDE and one running
  GNOME, there is no OpenLP icon in the menu systems. Running either
  openlp or openlp-bzr from the AUR.
