[Bug 900686] Re: Media volume slider doesn't work when using phonon backend
Sorry, I just discovered it is a little more specific than what I initially thought.
If I only have the phonon backend enabled, then the volume slider works as expected.
However, if I have both webkit and phonon enabled:
1) If webkit has the higher priority (top of list) then the volume slider works
2) If phonon has the higher priority (top of list) then the volume slider doesn't work!

Title:
Media volume slider doesn't work when using phonon backend
Status in OpenLP - Worship Presentation Software:
New
Bug description:
OS: Kubuntu 11.10
OpenLP: Trunk revision 1823
Steps to reproduce:
1)First, make sure that you are using phonon to play media.
2) Move a media item across to the service manager.
3) Send the media item live, and start it playing
4) Adjust the media volume slider - the sound does not change volume or mute when dragged all the way to the left
If I change the media backend to use webkit, then the media volume
slider works as expected.
