This is working as designed but both comments above are correct.

If you select Genesis 1:1-10 then want verses 1,5,2,10 in that order how do you do that.  
Mad yes but we are working with ministers !

If you add a sort then you are imposing order where that may also get it
wrong.  I want a slide with Luke 1:1 and Acts 1:1 in that order.  Is the
sort going to work within a Bible or across bibles?

Bug description:
  Search for whole chapter.
  Press end, press shift and home. Send to preview, you have last verse, then 1-one-before-last.

  Ctrl+pick verses 3,2,1; you have these in that exact order.
