No, in Easyslides the Songs are divided in folders. The bookreference is no more than a reference. It isn't used to search for songs etc.
In Easyslides you select a folder first, and then you can search by songnumber or by title.

I think that the attached patch should fix it, but that was a quick look
at the code, so I'm not entirely sure if this is the only change
necessary.

Bug description:
  When I convert a xml file with songs from one "folder"/book, the value
  for the SongBook is not correct. It uses the BookReference value
  instead of the Folder value.

  This happened on a Crunchbang Linux distro, but I think it has nothing to do with the OS ;)
