When you enable the songnumber visibility in the list it will become clear. The songnumbers belong to the folders. So therefore the folder in easyslides is equal to the songbook in OpenLP. 
The default songs in easyslides don't have a songnumber, so that can be confusing at first.

Bug description:
  When I convert a xml file with songs from one "folder"/book, the value
  for the SongBook is not correct. It uses the BookReference value
  instead of the Folder value.

  This happened on a Crunchbang Linux distro, but I think it has nothing to do with the OS ;)
