This is fully coded and implemented .  
The theme is saved in the service item and when the service is loaded the service theme is set to the value in the service file.

As fully functional no reason to remove.

Title:
  Remove Service level theme.

Status in OpenLP:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
  Remove the option to have a service level theme and just have global
  and item.

  It is confusing what the difference there is with global.

  It is a hand over from 1,x where the theme was stored in the service
  file.  It is not now.

  It is now possible to override and set themes for individual service
  items which is new in 2.x.
