Message #27822
[Bug 1514129] Re: Remove files that no longer exist automatically
This would need a switch as it may be confusing if files just disappear.
What happens if a video you want is on a remote drive and you start OpenLP with it not connected.
The reference will just disappear instead of telling you it is missing as today. In the heat of getting a service ready this would not be a good thing.

Title:
Remove files that no longer exist automatically
Status in OpenLP:
New
Bug description:
If user deletes or renames files, they should be automatically
deleted from library instead of staying there as ghost files.
Would be nice if OpenLP did this on startup or even while it is
running.
If user has deleted or moved some files, it's unlikely that they wish to
use them with OpenLP anymore. Or if they do, it's easier for them to
just re-place them instead of having to remove the old files first.
