Fair enough.   I don't know a ton about cross-platform GUI stuff, but I
can't think it would be simple to intercept the right/middle clicks.  If
there's no way to switch it off, would it be possible for the
right/middle click to call the left-click subroutine?  Then it's at
least consistent (although I've no idea if that's a "better" way to
handle things).
