[Bug 1088646] [NEW] Directory choices not honoured

Public bug reported:

When I choose a directory for a project, such as say ~/Videos/project,
it is not honoured by the software. When I save the project it is as
likely to end up in ~/ as where I wanted it. The same is true of any
titles I create from within Openshot (and edited in Inkscape), .svg
files as often as not end up in ~/ instead of my chosen project folder.
When I export a video the same is true. If I manually move all the
files into ~/Videos/project and reload the project file naturally the
application complains that the files are no longer available. If I then
change the properties of each file to point to new location and save
(and it would be nice to be able to do this with the browser) it seems
to make no difference (or is that because it saved the project file to
~/? Do you see the problem?) I've tried to work around by linking the
~/thumbnails directory to ~/Videos/project/thumbnails, but that hardly
seems right. It's a fairly fundamental fault.

1) OS ubuntu 12.10 32 bit
2) Openshot 1.4.3-1
3) melt 0.8.0-4

** Affects: openshot
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
