It's entertaining how different people focus on different meanings
depending on their own psychological make-up - gives me endless fun
observing reactions.

To me the essence is not the nickname but the second stanza of the
saying - "everything else is learned" - since that neatly describes how
my life is about constantly learning new stuff (Python and python
distutils installation right now!).

I usually reckon on 30% of my time being spent on learning, research,
reading docs, and experimenting, about 20% actually writing virgin code,
30% bug-tracking (kernel bugs are often a PITA to pin down!), 10% on
documentation, and the rest on hacking existing code.
