Simple Export Options

I was thinking about the simple export screen (in preparation for another
blog post), and it seems like we are missing 1 important use-case for the
simple tab. Often, after creating a video project, I just want to save a
video to my desktop as a certain format (avi, mpeg, quicktime, etc...). You
know? I don't want to format it for a website or for a AVCHD disc, etc...
If I switch to the "advanced tab", I have to know all the valid combinations
of video and audio codecs, supported bit rates, etc...

What do you think about this: Adding a new "*Type*" on the simple tab
called "Formats" (or something like that). Here is how I would envision the
dropdowns working:

1) Project Type: * Formats*
2) Target: *AVI* (or MPEG, MP4, MOV, OGV, MTS, WMV, etc...)
3) Profile: *DV NTSC* (or DV NTSC Widescreen, etc...)
4) Quality: *Low* (or Medium, High, etc...)

I think we should only add the most common formats, and the most common
profiles and quality settings. The best part of this plan is it won't
require any programming, just creating more /export_presets XML files. It
should be that simple. The hardest part is determining which formats,
codecs, profiles and quality settings go together.

Any thoughts?
