We're seeing a sharp upswing in bug reports that are likely caused by
underlying dependencies in C and C++ libraries with no useful
information to help diagnose the issue.

I'm currently writing a debugging guide that covers the use of gdb, pdb,
and the debug-symbol package that we can point bug-reporters to.

I'm not sure where it should be homed so would welcome some pointers on
this.
