There are some performance issues with zooming in closer than 1 second.
We need to revisit how the clip is drawn to the screen, fix the
performance issues, and then revisit this issue. Thanks!

It would be helpful to zoom in closer than is currently possible, and (less crucially) to zoom out further than is currently possible.
