[Bug 455791] Re: Feature Request: Fade handles

Thanks for the suggestion! I am adding this to the wishlist.
Currently, there are 2 ways to fade the video of a clip. Using the
"Dissolve" transition, or using the clip properties screen "Video Fade
In" / "Video Fade Out". Thanks!

Status in OpenShot Video Editor: Confirmed

Bug description:
It would be really handy to have small handles at the top left and top right corner of each clip. These would be fade handles. And example of a standard clip with current UI:

-----------------------------------------
| |
-----------------------------------------

Example Fade:

----------------------------------------
| \
--------------------------------------------
                                                 ^
                                              Fade Starts here

The more you drag the handle (making the widget trapezoidal or drawing a dotted line indicating it) the longer the fade.

I know there is a fade transition, but its pretty simple, and a much faster way of handling fades and crossfades. Its one of the only features I really miss from VideoDeluxe.

Great work, thanks to OpenShot all my operations are now fully OpenSource :)
