when i start the openshoot it gets grayed out after a minute or two, i am using ubuntu9.10_32bit

Bug description:
i installed OpenShot (version 0.9.43) from ppa on ubuntu 9.10gnome_32bit, but after a minute or sometimes even less, it gets greyed out and not responding.

I have just discovered openshoot, it looks so easy to use, but this bug is really a bummer.....
