Re: [Bug 474716] [NEW] Errors in startup after installing using wizard in ubuntu 9.04
I deleted and reinstalled as suggested. Still getting errors on
startup, now it's crashing, and I have to "Force Quit" to close it.
Terminal output:
pyocom@pyocom:~/openshot_wizard$ python ~/openshot/openshot/openshot.py

Errors in startup after installing using wizard in ubuntu 9.04
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/474716
You received this bug notification because you are a member of OpenShot
Developers, which is subscribed to OpenShot Video Editor.
Status in OpenShot Video Editor: New
Bug description:
Ubuntu 9.04
OpenShot 0.9.52
Wizard 1.0.6
When starting from terminal it stops with "~openshot/main/OpenShot.py" not found.
I fixed this by;
renamed "openshot" folder in main "openshot" folder to "main" and renamed "openshot.py" to "OpenShot.py". now will start from terminal.
OpenShot then crashes with can't find "glade.xml", to fix this I copied renamed "main" folder and named copy "openshot".
I know this a really crappy work around but I got the program to start up from terminal and the menu.
Also I'm getting this error in a pop-up terminal window on menu startup of OpenShot.
openshot/main/windows/SimpleGladeApp.py:340: GtkWarning: gtk_toolbar_set_icon_size: assertion `icon_size != GTK_ICON_SIZE_INVALID' failed
return gtk.glade.XML(self.glade_path, root, domain)
A new frmMain has been created
Not the primary instance of OpenShot. Not starting queue watcher thread.
