I discovered the error is the package frei0r-plugins. When I install
multimidia packages like ubuntu-restricted-extras or winff (better) and
dependencies, openshot and even kdenlive make totem, empathy, brasero,
etc, stop working. I tested package by package and discovered that the
problem is some conflict with the package frei0r-plugins. In Kdenlive I
can uninstall the package but kdenlive keep working. The same does'nt
happen with openshot cause when I uninstall frei0r-plugins, Openshot is
uninstalled too.

Bug description:
I installed OpenShot (0.9.52d) through PPA repository on my Ubuntu Karmic (9.10) 32 bits. After it totem does not start anymore and Openshot does not start too. Will we have some fast and new release to fix this?
