Hum i don't understand well. What are you version, 09.43 or 0.9.53 ? If it's the 0.9.43 install the 0.9.53 it's resolve on normaly

Bug description:
9.10 karmic 2.6.31-14 generic 64-bit
ppa 0.9.43

I can import a .flv file and drag onto a track.  When I press play the program freezes and uses 100% of  one CPU.  I have to force quit.
