I uninstalled the ppa version 09.43, then installed from Synaptic.  Only
09.43 version available.  .flv video played, but sound was garbled.

Bug description:
9.10 karmic 2.6.31-14 generic 64-bit
ppa 0.9.43

I can import a .flv file and drag onto a track.  When I press play the program freezes and uses 100% of  one CPU.  I have to force quit.
