[Bug 489081] Re: Missing colour key on chroma key effect

Hi Andy,

Thanks for your speedy reply to my problem, please note that I am a newcomer to Linux and apparently not a very bright one.
Have been running Hardy 8.04 (AMD64 version) for around 9 months on an AMD 3000+ 1.8gig with ATI 9250 graphics card and
2GB of ram. I am not clear however on your question about what "MLT"version I have. I Have only just recently installed OpenShot 0.9.52 from a .DEB package, with no problems during the install or basic usage of the program, have been able to add various clips with some transitions and then export without problems, the problems began when trying to apply some of the effects as they seem to result in the preview window going entirely black, the program keeps running ok and allows me to export the movie but the resultant export has black sections where the effects were applied, also the previously mentioned missing
key in the chroma key effect. Some of the effects like pixelate, black and white, and charcoal seem to work as intended.
Thank you again for your time and interest.

RegardsBrent Williams

Bug description:
Hi,

When I use the chroma key effect and want to adjust it's settings I get a variance field to adjust, with the word 'key' below that but
no actual field, button etc to be able to designate a colour? Another problem is that when I go to the properties of a clip and at the "speed" tab try to adjust the speed the preview window goes black? as does the corresponding section in the exported file.
Several of the effects such as "burning tv" and "threshold" also produce a black or single coloured screen in the exported file?

Many thanks for your time, everyone involved, and keep up the great work.

Regards Brent
