Re: [Bug 489323] Re: Timeline marker is not accurate

 

I would recommend trying a few different video files, and see if you notice
the same behavior.  If I'm understanding you correctly, clicking on a
certain point on the timeline, and dragging to a certain point on the
timeline yield a different preview frame?  I watched your attached video,
but it seemed to stay in sync... best I could tell.

Bug description:
It seems that the marker is not accurate... if you click on a certain position, it might align with the proper place in the video - but if you drag it there, chances are it'll lag behind and display the wrong image in the preview window.

Maybe it's the fact that the video was a .avi and not a .dv - just guessing, but if that is it then this needs to be dealt with in a more user-friendly way.
