How did you install OpenShot?  Did you use the .DEB files?  The PPA is a
much easier way to install everything.  To clarify my last message, only
un-install the packages you installed via the DEB files.  So, it should
only be 5 or 6 packages.  Not Python, and pygoocanvas, etc...  Hope this
helps. =)

Status in OpenShot Video Editor: New

Bug description:
Hi to all.

Yesterday I've been trying to cut the initial part of an .avi video and rendered it into two formats.
When rendered to a .flv OpenShot produced an empty file.
When rendered to "youtube format" it produced a .mp4 file but I'm unable to read it with VLC, Mplayer and OpenShot too..

I have the latest OpenShot 0.9.54 and related dependecies installed as shown here:

Any suggestion, please?
