[Bug 497004] Re: The program doesn't start on a non Debian-based distro

Okay , the wizard doesn't work without a Debian system , but when I
installed Openshot in the "traditional" way , the program gave me the
same response ! So I think that the problem isn't in the wizard , that
installed the software without problems . Yes , I noticed that the
installer ask to the user what Ubuntu version is using , but the
installer works !!!

Status in OpenShot Video Editor: New

Bug description:
I installed this software with the wizard (version 0.9.54) on my Slackware 13 . The installation process doesn't give errors , but when I try to launch openshot , the program doesn't start .... launching it from a terminal gives me these message :

--------------------------------
   OpenShot (version 0.9.54)
--------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------
Error: OpenShot has not been installed in the Python path.
(Both the site-packages and /usr/share/openshot folders were checked)

Use the following command to install OpenShot:
  $ sudo python setup.py install

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I understood the message , but I didn't find a solution yet . Reading some forums I noticed that this problem is common in non Debian-based systems .
