Do you have visual effects enabled? If so can you try without them on.
Is there plenty of free memory available on your system when you are
running Openshot?

Bug description:
When ever I do an action like importing files or opening projects, the window will not repaint correctly (see screenshot)
The toolbar doesn't get it's icons back, the Video Preview losses it's "tab" and border.
