Tried using metacity instead of Compiz. Didn't fix the issue.

My GPU is a GeForce 220GT and I'm using the OpenShot-edge PPA, if that
helps.

Bug description:
When starting OpenShot, some of the icons on the toolbar are missing. They can be brought back by placing the mouse over them, or (un)maximizing the window. Similarly, this also happens when a pop-up window appears.
